About Kid
Why invest in Kid
Kid ASA combines two established Nordic home and interior brands with an integrated, high-margin retail model, a growing omnichannel platform and a clear commitment to shareholder returns.
An established Nordic retail platform
Kid Group operates Kid Interiør in Norway and Hemtex in Sweden, Finland and Estonia. The two brands serve customers through an extensive network of physical stores and established online channels, offering a broad assortment of home textiles, curtains, bed linen, furniture and interior accessories.
The Group benefits from strong local brand positions combined with the scale of a shared Nordic organisation. Common capabilities across sourcing, logistics, technology and category development create opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen the customer proposition and apply successful initiatives across brands and markets.

Strong margins and profitability
Kid Group designs, sources, markets and sells its own product assortment. This gives it control over the most important parts of the value chain and lets it renew the assortment continuously.
The integrated model supports attractive gross margins and strong operational profitability. Scale in purchasing, disciplined campaign execution and active management of product mix contribute to earnings.

A growing omnichannel business
Physical stores remain central to Kid Group's customer proposition, providing inspiration, product presentation and local accessibility. Online channels complement the store network and let customers move between digital discovery and physical fulfilment.
Online sales are an increasingly important part of the business, with strong digital growth at both Kid Interior and Hemtex. Investment in e-commerce, customer engagement and click-and-collect also increases the productivity of the existing store network.
Multiple avenues for continued growth
Kid Group has several complementary growth drivers. Like-for-like growth is supported by assortment renewal, commercial execution and increased customer activity, while new and expanded product categories allow the Group to address a larger share of customers’ spending on the home.
The Group is also developing its store portfolio through selective openings, relocations, refurbishments and larger store formats. Bigger stores provide more space to present the full assortment and support growth in categories such as furniture, outdoor products and seasonal collections. Hemtex’s digital launch in Germany adds a controlled and capital-light opportunity to test the brand in a new European market.
A platform built to support scale
Kid Group has invested in a shared Nordic warehouse and the modernisation of its core retail, sourcing, supply-chain and store systems. The new operating platform is intended to support greater volumes, improve product availability and enable more efficient coordination across brands and sales channels.
Warehouse operations have stabilised, and the Group-wide rollout of its new point-of-sale platform has been completed. Together with new workforce-management and digital solutions, these investments provide a stronger foundation for customer engagement, efficient store operations and profitable long-term growth.
A clear commitment to shareholder returns
Kid ASA’s capital-allocation approach balances investment in profitable growth with regular distributions to shareholders. Capital is directed towards store development, category expansion, digital capabilities and infrastructure where the Group sees attractive potential returns.
The dividend policy provides investors with a clear framework for distributions. Kid targets semi-annual dividend payments representing 80–100% of adjusted net profit and applies a dynamic distribution policy under which excess capital may be returned to shareholders.
